New features

We're hard at work to improve Botdog and you experience as a user - both adding features and making sure the product remains super user-friendly.

Here's what we've been working on recently! 👇

Timezone Selection

We just rolled out a new timezone selection feature!

  • You can now update your timezone in your settings
  • Botdog automatically schedules messages between 8am and 4pm in that timezone
  • The send times are randomized within that window

This is pretty handy if you're:

  • Doing outreach in different countries
  • Working with a remote team
  • Just want to avoid sending messages at 2AM

Our much-anticipated team feature is now available to all users! To set up your team account and customize access levels, go to Settings > Team in your Botdog dashboard.

This allows you to:

  • Manage multiple LinkedIn accounts without sharing passwords
  • Delegate outreach tasks while maintaining individual account authenticity
  • Manage your team's inbox for them
  • Centralize billing and account management for teams

How our users are leveraging this feature:

  • Community managers run campaigns across multiple accounts to promote events and grow membership
  • Executive teams delegate LinkedIn outreach while maintaining personal branding
  • Marketing agencies manage client accounts directly, streamlining outreach campaigns

You can now set specific start and end dates to:

  1. Align campaigns with product launches, webinars, events
  2. Run time-limited promotions
  3. Plan and prepare campaigns in advance

You no longer need to remember to turn off that campaign when it becomes irrelevant!

The feature is turned on by default in your settings. It keeps cleaning your invites even if you don't have any Botdog campaign pending!

This feature:

  1. Removes unanswered invitations after a set period (14, 30, or 60 days)
  2. Allows you to re-invite prospects, significantly increasing overall acceptance rates
  3. Helps maintain a clean and active LinkedIn account

Key benefit: By re-inviting prospects who didn't initially connect, you dramatically improve your chances of making connections. Our data shows that many people accept on subsequent invitations, leading to connection rates nearly as high as first-time invites.

How long does it take for LinkedIn invites to be accepted on average? Our study on 16,492 invitations

The graph shows how long it typically takes for invitations to be accepted. This data helps you understand the optimal timing for withdrawing and resending invitations - and helps you understand why we believe 30 days is optimal: by then 99% of the invitations that will eventually be accepted have already been accepted.

The feature is ideal for:

  • Sales professionals aiming to expand their LinkedIn network strategically
  • Recruiters looking to connect with passive candidates who might have missed the initial invite

This approach respects LinkedIn's best practices while maximizing your networking potential.

Add a list of people to your blacklist in a few clicks

Import CSV lists of contacts to bulk-add to your blacklist to:

  1. Avoid contacting competitors or irrelevant prospects
  2. Respect "do not contact" requests
  3. Focus your efforts on your ideal target audience

This feature ensures your campaigns remain targeted and respectful, while providing flexibility in managing larger sets of exclusions efficiently.

Ideal for maintaining clean, focused outreach campaigns and adhering to LinkedIn's best practices!

Export the leads from any Botdog campaign to re-use them somewhere else

This feature allows you to download contact information from LinkedIn search results or Sales Navigator lists. Use it to:

  1. Create targeted prospect lists for your campaigns
  2. Export potential leads for your CRM or other outreach tools
  3. Enrich or clean your lists with external tools, then reimport using CSV import
  4. Save time on manual data entry of LinkedIn contacts

Particularly useful for sales teams and recruiters who need to quickly build, refine, and manage lists from LinkedIn searches for their outreach.

This feature allows you to:

  1. Map 3 different custom fields when you do a CSV import
  2. This is in addition to First Name and Last Name (and many more to come soon!)

How our users have used this so far:

  • Export leads from Apollo and then personalize based on company, location, role etc.
  • Use AI tools like GPT for Sheets and Docs to enrich their CSV files with AI-generated personalizations
  • Create personalizations in a spreadsheet and then import the personalizations in their Botdog campaigns

Ideal for marketers and sales professionals looking to maximize engagement through hyper-personalized LinkedIn outreach.

Our much-awaited team account!

This feature allows you to manage multiple LinkedIn accounts or delegate tasks without sharing passwords. Here's how our users leverage it:

  1. Community managers run campaigns across multiple accounts to promote events and grow membership.
  2. Executive teams delegate LinkedIn outreach to a team member while maintaining individual account authenticity.
  3. Marketing agencies manage client accounts directly, streamlining connection-building campaigns.

Benefits include increased outreach capacity, improved account security, and simplified team collaboration. It's particularly useful for teams looking to scale their LinkedIn presence effectively!

You can also filter by status (on the left) to see who's waiting to hear back from you!

This new feature allows you to:

  1. Access a history of conversations initiated through Botdog campaigns (go to History and then select any contact)
  2. Filter by "unread messages" for easy prioritization
  3. Manually mark messages as unread for follow-up
  4. Reply directly from within the Botdog interface

Key benefit: When combined with the Team Shared Account feature, team members can reply on behalf of others, but only to Botdog-initiated conversations.

Ideal for:

  • Sales teams managing high-volume LinkedIn outreach campaigns
  • Executive assistants handling responses for leadership's Botdog campaigns
  • Marketing teams coordinating multi-account outreach initiatives

This feature streamlines your workflow for Botdog-specific outreach, ensuring efficient management and collaboration on your LinkedIn campaigns.
